What the Prepaid PPA actually is

One payment up front, or financed through Travis Credit Union, locks in zero monthly solar bills for 25 years at a rate that never moves.

  • Zero monthly solar bills for 25 years 0% escalator. The rate never moves for the life of the agreement.
  • One payment, or finance through Travis Credit Union Pay it off at once, or spread it out. Your call.
  • No credit check, no lien on your home Find out whether your home qualifies without either one.
  • Transferable if you sell the home The next owner inherits it with no monthly solar payment for the remaining term.

Did solar end with the tax credit?

The 30 percent federal residential tax credit ended on December 31, 2025. The prepaid program never depended on it, and PG&E rates did not go anywhere. That is the whole reason a five minute call is worth making.
